Today's flower post is less post and more pics. Near the end of spring I went on a photo safari at the Brooklyn Botanical gardens and have decided to share them in honor of flower theme week. While I am not sooo lazy that I can't walk the few blocks from our apartment for another flower picture day, the cooler weather inspired me to post picturesof flowers mid bloom not mid "help I'm melting" stage of life. Here they are ready for your browsing pleasure:

Now for those of you who have yet to have the pleasure of hitting this fab park, here are my tips and tricks:
1) Word on the street: go free Tuesdays or Saturdays before noon
2) Best spots in the park are the tulips and the beautiful Japanese garden
3) Don't sit on the grass in most places, you will get yelled at
4) July is native plant month at the BBG so you might just catch us there snapping pictures and jotting down insider flora tips
